Stour Culture CIC aims to improve access to culture and live entertainment for the community living and working in Manningtree, Brantham, Lawford, Mistley, Cattawade and the surrounding area.
We work in partnership with local artists, organisations and stakeholders to develop infrastructure and resources that encourage the growth of culture and live entertainment.
We invest, and encourage others to invest, in the commission, development and presentation of new work.
We focus on local artists and local stories, prioritising culture and live entertainment that celebrates and explores our community.
Our team has a background in theatre and live entertainment, previously working with companies such as the National Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company, HighTide, Sonia Friedman Productions, Central School of Ballet, Theatre Royal Stratford East and Coventry City of Culture.
